Drive is collaboration storage, not a DAM

It is built for editing docs together, not warehousing brand assets. There is no taxonomy, the search is filename-and-content based, and once you pass a few thousand files nobody can find the approved version of anything.

Native files are not real files

Docs, Sheets, and Slides only exist inside Google. A naive copy can't move them, and exporting hundreds by hand is a non-starter — you need an automated export to PDF/Office on the way out.

Permission + link sprawl

drive.google.com/file/d/... links are pasted everywhere, "anyone with the link" access piles up, and there is no clean way to audit who can see what — or to swap every link when you move off Drive.

Authorise with a read-only OAuth scope (drive.readonly), or domain-wide delegation for a whole Workspace org. Tokens are encrypted at rest and never logged. Your Drive is never modified.

Pick a destination

S3, Cloudinary, Azure Blob, GCS, AEM, Bynder, or any of 12 supported destinations. Choose export formats for native Docs/Sheets/Slides.

Start the migration

Files stream directly from Drive. The folder tree maps to prefixes/collections, Labels + descriptions carry over, and native files are exported to your chosen format.

Swap your links

On completion you get a CSV of every drive.google.com link paired with its new URL — search-replace or redirect at the CDN. No broken links.

Your Drive folder tree maps to destination key prefixes or DAM collections, and Drive Labels become destination tags. The organising signal you built up in Drive comes with the files — it isn't flattened to bare filenames.

Native Docs exported, not dropped

Docs, Sheets, and Slides are exported to portable formats (PDF/DOCX/XLSX/PPTX) on the way out, so they land at the destination as real files. Binary assets stream byte-for-byte unchanged.

Share-link map exported

You get a CSV of every drive.google.com link paired with its destination URL. Search-replace across your content, or redirect at the CDN layer — no dead links after you decommission Drive.

Read-only OAuth + audited

  • Most Drives are a few GB to a few TB and complete in hours to a couple of days. We enumerate and download files via the Drive API in parallel and stream them straight to the destination, so wall-clock time is set by destination throughput, not Drive. The migration is resumable — large Drives and Shared Drives are just more pages of the same loop, and a dropped connection resumes where it left off.
